Den nå 80 år gamle amerikanske presidenten Trumps ivrighet for inngåelse av avtalen med Iran er nok dennes bekymring tilknyttet mellomvalget til høsten hvoretter dennes handlingsevne kan bli lammet i Kongressen. Amerikanerne liker hverken krig i Persiabukten eller presidentens håndtering av Ukraina-krigen.
